The “Pit” Storage Area Guidelines

What can be stored:

● Trailers or anything on a trailer, (Boats, Snowmobiles, ATV’s, Motorcycles)

● Camping trailers, Motor Homes, (RV’s)

● Vehicles, (Cars, Trucks, Tractors)

A tarp or cover may be used but must be securely fastened to the trailer or vehicle

Where applicable, trailers and vehicles must have a current state registration and proof of liability insurance.

What cannot be stored:

● Trash, Food waste, hazardous materials of any kind, either on a trailer or on the ground. (Includes gasoline and propane in portable containers)

● Livestock or any other domestic animals

● No permanent or temporary buildings or tents are to be erected on site

● No mobile homes or other manufactured housing

● Nothing stored on this site shall be used for residential purposes while on site

When Parking:

● Do not park in the designated snowplow turn area

● Do not park in the access roadway leading to the pit

● Please park side by side not end to end along the parking area

● Please keep at least 4 ft. of space between vehicles and trailers

Payment:

● Payment is per space for one fiscal year (July 1 to June 30)

● Payment may be made anytime but nothing is to be stored until payment in full is received

● Fee is non-refundable and non-prorated - set annually by the Board of Directors

● Tenants may use storage space but the fee is assessed to the owner of record

● All items stored must be removed prior to the sale of a home or the moving of a tenant - Anything left in storage after the sale of a home will be removed at the new owner’s expense - Removal of items after a tenant move will be at the cost of the owner of record
